Thank you very much for the (autographed!!) copy of the above. I have
been some time in acknowledging your kindness in giving it to me, mainly
because I did not want to be cursory in my examination. As an old
science teaching buff I can only compliment you and your co-author on
the approach (science is/can be fun), the content (we need to think
through what we do and why, in conceptually tight ways), and the tone
(breezy, joking, etc.).
Good stuff indeed, and I an taking the liberty of passing it around the
superintendents’ caucus.
